By
a recent agreement, with the Portpatrick Dunskey Golf club,
players flying into Castle Kennedy Airfield will benefit
from reduced Green Fees. This is a spectacular golf course,

over the sea. The golf course is about 20 minutes from the
airfield by taxi, and there are some fantastic Hotels and
Bed and Breakfast places in the village of Portpatrick.
It is also possible to arrange sessions with the resident
professional with advance notice.
We
are hoping to organise a bit of a flyin on Sunday 8th June

As
well as being the only town in Scotland to have a casino
license, Stranraer is also the location for a new Marina
development. Inserted below is the latest information from
the local council, who are coordinating the development.
The intention is to have the pontoons in place soon, and
the remainder of the Marina development to follow on.
With
the impending move of the the last cross channel ferry company
out of Stranraer, the sheltered Loch Ryan will not only
provide some excellent water sports facilities, but also
access to Northern Ireland, and the west coast of Scotland.
"The local authority is currently leading
on a project to construct a 50 berth pontoon station, marketing
for which will take place April /May 2008, with a view to
